Steam update brings Makeover with it

Aside from actually downloading Steam, I haven’t updated it… at least, to my knowledge. But hearing today would be the day Steam gets a cosmetic overhaul intrigued me enough. So I went ahead and checked for latest updates and was treated to this visual after the updating was done:

Yes ok, I have zero friends… ignore that. I mean, I only use Steam to buy games. It’s not like I don’t have any friends or anything!

So that’s the homepage and it looks pretty nifty. Afterwards I decided to click on the games page, so I chose Metro 2033:

It’s been a while since I looked at this menu, but I don’t recall it instantly playing a video trailer for said game. But aside from that it still looked like it had all the same features as the older Steam.

But then I clicked on my games collection and I saw this!

Gotta say, I like the backdrop image of the game that you click on. Especially when you consider Majesty is pretty old and they could of easily opted not to have an imagine behind it.

So if you’ve been looking at these pictures and have Steam I suggest you go ahead and update that bad boy for this new look.
